This site is dedicated to collecting information and archiving texts on feedism, erotic weight gain and fat fetishism. These kinks have been around on the internet for most of its history, but lately most of the activity happens on ephemeral platforms or publicly inaccessible services that are practically unsearchable. Lots of historically valuable feedism material has also disappeared or become inaccessible due to changing Internet landscape.
I believe that the time is ripe for feedism to be discussed much like any other relatively common interest erotic interest and not be simply consigned to porn sites. According to a post on Pornhub's Insight blog in 2018, interest in feedism soared by 611% between 2014 and 2018 and personally I do not think there's a reason to think that the growth has plateaud yet. Perhaps due to a history of sensationalistic exploitation media centering on the kink, feedists have tended to refrain from discussing the kink on media, leading to a spread of misunderstandings and inaccurate views on the kink and how it is practiced. I believe feedism is worth discussing in the public and that talking about its pleasures is a precondition to consensual encounters that honor mutuality, no matter what the degree of involvement in the kink is. I also believe that collecting historical material pertaining to the kink helps us understand what forces have molded it, where it is going and how to make the feedism communities better places.
One of my near-term goals for this site is to turn the now publically inaccessible Dimensions weight gain stories archive into an ebook that would make the stories much more available and readable on modern mobile devices. The archive is of historical interest in that it's a time capsule of what weight gain stories were like in the 90's and early 2000's, many of the tropes itself having been reused or reacted against by later writers of weight gain fiction. They're also a snapshot into the fantasies of the kink scene itself in the time before it gained attention in the public eye.
Another goal is to collect examples of feedism in media that is not primarily targeted towards fellow kinksters, such as more mainstream film, comics, literature and music. I believe that seeing how feedism has been represented in fiction would be fruitful for further discussion and future works. Besides, art has the power of letting ourselves inhabit someone else's experience. In a niche kink, genuine opportunities for this are scarce, making the artistic works referencing feedism, good or bad, more valuable still
A third goal is collate the brief histories of some of the main feedist online platforms and their space in kink history. Experience has shown that titans fall.
